Goblets and mugs usually come in either a hammered or a smooth cup option. Some designs seem to look better one way, such as the claw goblet that looks great with a smooth cup due to the highly hammered claw wrapped around it. Or the vine goblet looks great hammered because it picks up on the grape crystals and vine work.
